TVP celebrates Volunteers' Week

We are supporting national Volunteers’ Week by celebrating the integral contribution that volunteers make to policing across Thames Valley.

There are 1,185 volunteers across the Force from Special Constables to Puppy Socialisers to Cadets to Actor Role Players. Working closely with staff, officers and partner agencies our volunteers come from all different cultures and backgrounds and are aged from 13 to 90.

Throughout the 12-days we will be showcasing the diverse nature of volunteering within TVP, giving an insight into different roles across the Force and letting you know how you can get involved.

Our volunteers and staff will be blogging throughout the week, sharing their experiences working with TVP.

For further information, including how you can become a volunteer for TVP please follow our campaign on Facebook and Twitter using #Volunteersweek.
